My Projects
Gamified New Student Onboarding
I designed this project using Articulate 360: Storyline to bridge a knowledge gap among new students at a virtual high school who struggled to navigate their online courses and submit assignments. I incorporated a gamified gem-collecting mechanic and optional music and sound effects to enhance engagement, creating an interactive and immersive learning experience.

Becoming a Learning Experience Designer Microlearning Series
I developed this project in Articulate 360: Rise in collaboration with Northeastern University’s Learning Experience Design and Technology department. Our goal was to address a knowledge gap among prospective students unfamiliar with the versatility of the learning experience design field. Designed as microlearning modules, the content was tailored for social media and marketing outreach. I also worked closely with the university’s communications department to source images and logos, creating custom-branded visuals in Canva to ensure a cohesive and engaging presentation.

Creating Safe Spaces with Gender-Inclusive Language
I developed this project in Articulate 360: Rise to support my colleagues at a K-12 virtual public school in confidently and respectfully addressing students and coworkers who use gender-diverse pronouns. I incorporated interactive elements such as scenarios and flashcards to enhance engagement and reinforce positive behaviors for effective knowledge transfer. Since its launch, this training has been widely shared with other organizations and has received highly positive feedback.

Enrolling Students in HACC’s Dual Enrollment Program
I designed this project in Articulate 360: Rise to guide colleagues at a virtual high school through the complex process of enrolling students in Harrisburg Area Community College’s (HACC) dual enrollment program. Given the multifaceted nature of the process, I incorporated interactive activities, a case study assessment, and a custom-animated instructional video to reinforce key concepts. To enhance accessibility, I organized the content into structured sections, allowing learners to navigate freely and revisit important information as needed.

AI in the Virtual Classroom: Responsibility and Use
I developed this project in Articulate 360: Rise and integrated it into an organization's Canvas platform to address virtual secondary school teachers' increasing concerns about students' unauthorized AI use. This course equips faculty with the knowledge to explore various AI tools, educate students on responsible AI use, and seamlessly incorporate ethical AI practices into their curriculum. While the full Canvas instance is not publicly accessible, all discussion board activities and the final assessment can be viewed within this Rise course.
